How to "Test Drive" a rug before you buy
Many interior designers request the Trial Consignment service for their clients. We call this "Test Drive" and TufenkianOutlet.com offers this service to everyone.
You may place an order at anytime, here's how:
- Go to Customer service/My account in the top navigation
- If you have already registered with us, login to your account
- To create an account, click the link where you see: (New Customers Sign Up Here)
- Once logged in, the rugs added to you cart will be saved with your account and you may proceed to Check Out
- When ready to submit your order enter a valid Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card and it will be securely shared with our merchant account and not stores on our site. The sale amount will be authorized on your card for a limited time until delivery and purchase is confirmed.
- You will receive an order receipt via email and a salesperson wil contact you same day or the next business day to confirm your order and estimated time of your delivery. At this time you may let us know if you plan on purchasing the rug or would like option of trial consignment.
- Your order will be processed in two business days. For tracking and estimated delivery see information below.
- If you choose to Test Drive before you buy, you may live with the rug for up to seven days from the day you receive it.
- If you love the rug, notify us during the seven day trial period and we will process to charge your card and send you a receipt.
- If you decide the rug does not work, Please notify us and we'll provide you with a return authorization and coordinate the rug return via UPS.
- If you are in touch with a sales person at TufenkianOutlet you have the option of setting up a Test Drive and ordering over the phone during business hours Monday through Saturday.
Use Wish List to narrow down your choices
- While you are narrowing down your choices you may add rugs to your your Wish List and then move any final selections to the Shopping Cart.
Tracking & Delivery ETA - How long will it take to receive a rug?
- Most rugs arrive within seven to ten business days via Ground/Standard service if they are located in our warehouse or one of our company showrooms.
- Rugs located at Tufenkian Dealer locations may take one to four weeks.
- We can provide you with tracking information once the rugs actually ship.
- With a tracking number you may contact UPS to coordinate delivery or arrange or pickup at your local hub.
- FREE outbound shipping! We offer free outbound shipping within the 48 contiguous states of the USA.
- Free outbound shipping is not applicable outside the USA, Alasks, or Hawaii, and may not always apply with sale coupons or rugs discounted more than 10% off the outlet price. Free shipping or additional discounts not applicable to rug pads.
Conditions of Trial Consignment
- The customer is responsible for any damage to the rug while it is in their possession. This includes any damage or soiling of the rug(s) that result from improper packaging of a rug returned to Tufenkian via any shipping method.
- The customer will pay full outbound and return shipping and handling charges, not to exceed twice the original quoted return rate, for any Packages refused or returned to Tufenkian without Return Authorization.
- If original packaging from Tufenkian cannot be preserved in the event a rug is to be returned, replacement packaging can be supplied for $15.
- If the Tufenkian Outlet Sales Associate or Manager is not contacted after seven days from the receipt of the carpet it is assumed you (the customer) are purchasing the rug and charges will be made to your card.
- Do not remove the wire tag / label from a rug, unless the rug is purchased. $10 Tag replacement fees may apply.
- Please note that Expedited outbound service such as UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day, or UPS Next Day Air is not included and extra charges apply. Expedited Quotes may be provided to you upon request and are listed in the online checkout process. Free outbound shipping is offered exclusively with ground or standard delivery service. Free outbound shipping is not available with FedEx or other premium carriers. Rugs too heavy for UPS are sent via our truck service delivery partners.
