  • DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR

  • Tufenkian Carpets is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Department on a full-time basis.  This position will report to the Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution and support of the company’s B2B and B2C digital marketing and communication strategies. This position will help develop marketing concepts, maintain marketing resources, manage projects, and ensure company messages are consistent to all stakeholders.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance of owned digital properties, including Tufenkian.com, Tufenkiancarpets.com and TufenkianOutlet.com; work with copywriter to create and post blogs, landing and other content pages; update on-site ads, maintain correct product inventory, post events, etc
  • Manage day to day implementation of Digital Marketing agency recommendations; prioritize projects for completion to meet PPC, SEO and other digital channel objectives; manage work flow with Graphic Designer to create graphics to support these objectives
  • Create HTML code, coordinate and deliver email marketing campaigns for Outlet and Carpet brands through Tufenkian’s designated bulk email provider. Maintain email databases for all stakeholders. Compile and send reports of all email performance
  • Maintain existing social media sites with a focus on brand awareness. Post weekly on all accounts, including Pinterest, Houzz, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. Research and report on new social media opportunities. Track and report on key performance indicators monthly
  • Database maintenance/updates for website product feeds. Ensure products are properly priced, filtered and promoted
  • Maintain navigation and filtering to present best possible product array and provide best possible UX. Provide reports as needed for on-site search trends, product shares, keyword redirects, etc.
  • Marketing point person for outlet sales department
  • Maintain image directories and provide image resources as needed by sales staff and press contacts; organize photo shoots as needed
  • Act as Marketing liaison for Outlet Sales Department; provide support as needed
  • EVALUATION CRITERIA

  • Overall role success judged on outlet sales (specifically email marketing channel, but also growing overall business); growing email database and other metrics, growing social media presence; improving both websites to build deeper interactions as measured by improvement across all channel metrics
  • DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University or college degree
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing
  • Written Communication – Strong, clear and informative writing skills with the ability to vary writing style; Ability to write and edit for online voice; Attention to spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Programs and high-level skills in Excel. Experience managing a CMS; experience with Aspdotnet Storefront and HTML is strongly preferred
  • Experience with robust email marketing programs and strategy; familiarity with Exact Target a plus
  • Knowledge from posting to analyzing insights of: Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+. You Tube is also appreciated. Knowledge of social media monitoring software tools an asset
  • Detail oriented and self motivated; ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects  
  • Experience with Basecamp or other project management software a plus
